Humphreys Taking Trips

Connor Humphreys

Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic defensive end Connor Humphreys updated where things stand in recruiting, including his spring plans…

Portland (Ore.) Central Catholic defensive end Connor Humphreys is already one of the most sought after prospects in the state of Oregon.

"Right now I am at four offers," said Humphreys. "Arizona State, Oregon State, Wyoming and Portland State."

Humphreys said there is a long list of programs recruiting him, but a couple stand out right now.

"I am headed to Boise State next weekend," said Humphreys. "Arizona State is trying pretty hard; they want me as a part of their defense."

At 6'4" 230lbs, Humphreys could play a couple positions in college, though most agree he will end up at defensive end.

"ASU said I can come in and start at their Devil backer position, a stand up defensive end," said Humphreys. "The rest of the schools like me at defensive end. I'll play anywhere I can get on the field."

In addition to his Boise State visit, Humphreys plans on attending the Nike NFTC in Eugene and one college team camp.

"I am also going to head up to Washington for their Rising Stars camp this summer," said Humphreys. "Coach Tosh told my high school coach that if I do well there they will offer me."
